Is it really the most wonderful time of the year?

I can totally admit that I love Christmas, just about as much as the next elf, but sometimes Ihave those moments where you just want to start going around hacking down Christmas trees.
Am I the only one?
Table for one. Check please

Now, now. Don't be looking at this post at me with your little judging eyes, because you shouldn't be judging me!  I absolutely guarantee that you are going to agree with all the things that I am about to say. So, put on your ugly Christmas sweater and buckle up, reindeer.

Christmas traffic. You can't even tell me that you all aren't cursing under your breath when you are sitting in a line of cars and then that really old boat car pulls infront of you and it's some grandma who doesn't even wave to thank you for not really letting her out, but letting her out. C'mon now, admit it. Oh, and let's not forget the fact that people forget how to freaking drive when there is traffic. Hey buddy, you stay in your lane and I'll stay in mine. Oh, oh! And, ITS' CALLED A BLINKER, BUTTFACE.

Long waiting lines. I am the most impatient person in the entire universe so I don't have time to be standing around doing nothing waiting for some cashier to ring me out. Whichever store I manage to go into, they are always really slow. I mean, when I am at work and we are waiting on people we wanna get them in and out and make it as painless as possible, but when I am sitting in a line for more than five minutes, I start to get hives. Nobody has got time for that. Then when I get closer to the register they always have stuff set up that you want to buy. Yup, I end up buying that stuff. Ohmigawd, look how tiny this chapstick is, I need it! We've all done it.

"Santa Baby". I love Christmas music as we all should know. This song just really gets under my skin. I can't do it. I have heard so many different versions and half the time the women sound so awful singing it that I just want to punch the speakers out. Yes, a song can be too whiny.

Yankee Swap. I am sure this is fun when you don't have to do it all the time, every year. I am actually involved in two of them and the limit is $5. Like, I don't want to be that person who buys a crappy gift, so I never really know what to get. I usually think of something the day of and just wing it. But, the simple fact that I am involved in two, that means that is $10 less that I won't have. I mean, c'mon now, I need coffee money for when holiday hours at work start.

Claymation movies. I THINK THEY ARE JUST STRAIGHT UP SILLY. Don't hate me, but I would rather be at the dentist than have to watch a stop motion movie. Unless it's this one:

I'm sure even angels have a rough morning or two.

I woke up this morning after getting about five hours of sleep, and all I could think about is getting some coffee into my veins. I would gladly take it in IV form if it helped get into my body faster. I looked in the mirror and saw that my make-up didn't look bad, my mascara was still on my eyelashes, so I dusted some foundation on to cover some icky spots. I threw on boyfriend jeans and a North Face and headed out to Dunkin Donuts and got a large mocha latte. You know there's a problem when I get a large. Now, I am sitting in the last session of my 8 AM English class for the semester and I can only think; What would Miranda Kerr do? Which then got me thinking, I wonder what the Victoria Secret Angels do when they are having a bad morning.

As you can probably tell, I was one of those girls who stayed up and watched the always fabulous VS Fashion Show. I sat on my bed and watched all of the beautiful angels walking around in their little clothes, just being all kinds (not just some kind) of wonderful.

The performances were great, done by Rihanna, Bruno Mars and the swaggerific Bieber.
I thought Ri did a great job with "Diamond" and she looked like she was having a great time and she actually looked pretty fabulous. Finally her awkward clothes actually are an advantage, in all places, the VS Fashion Show. Bieber, you really need to stop growing on me. I thought that he was just completely adorable. Though his voice a little piiiiitchy, he was always a cutie with his facial expressions and how he interacted with the Angels. I also thought it was super cute how the Angels were all excited for him to be there and they all admited to having Bieber-Fever.  Bruno is always a fun time when he performs and it looked like he was having a great time, and his vocals are always spot on, four for you Bruno!

There were countless amounts of mind boggling looks, these were a few of my favorites. I loved the entire opening with the circus theme and the ring master look was my absolute favorite. I am also super partial to Miranda Kerr because I just think she is fabulous and charming - and married to Orlando Bloom! Then I loved the blossom section and I love the colors and I remember seeing them sewing this in one of the background clips and I though the beading/stones were super pretty.

Now, if you excuse me I am going to go cry about how I am not them.
Happy Wednesday!

Obligatory Favorite Christmas Songs Post.

Oh, hi there! Well, since I have been all up in the Christmas spirit lately, I wanted to share my favorite songs of the season because I have been having some awesome duets with Nat King Cole and Bing Crosby since the radios started playing it before Thanksgiving. I saw that Sami did something like over at her blog, and I decided to jump on the holiday music train. Toot toot! Because, as my favorite elf says, the best way to spread christmas cheer is to sing it loud for all to hear. And, let's be honest, I am screaming it loud for all to hear. Thank God I usually drive fast to people next to me when I am driving don't think I am having a seizure while belting out these jams.

Christmas (Baby, Please Come Home) - Mariah Carey
This is my fave MC Christmas song, even more than "All I Want For Christmas Is You". I don't even know why I love this song so much, but I just do. I have been listening to this album since back when it was on a cassette. Yup. I would always beg my mom to play the tape in the car and I would sing along in my little kid, off-key voice. But, this song has such a nice beat and I can just bop my head back and forth to it. You go MC and your amazeballs vocals!

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays - NSYNC
If you don't love this song, you seriously hate Christmas. You are Ebeneezer. You are Grinch. This song is so flawless (honestly) and I love it. It's so boyband-chic and reminds me of my childhood. I also enjoy this video personally because JT's hair had the blonde tips. Only that boy can make that look cute. But, honestly. I can listen to this song on loop all season and not get sick of it. Which, pretty much happens because this on the Christmas playlist at work and I am forever packing up ravioli singing this song to customers. They love it. Yup yup.

Last Christmas - Glee Cast
I love Glee. I love Lea Michele's voice. I love Christmas. This is just a really a big win-win sitch for me, not even gunna lie about it. I just really love this song and even though I have never given someone my heart for Christmas, I am pretty sure that would suck, right? But, Lea makes it this awfully sad story sound beautiful. Good job, baby.

Cold December Night - Michael Buble
DANG YOU MICHAEL BUBLE. DANG YOU FOR MAKING ME WANT SOMEONE TO CUDDLE WITH AND WEAR CHRISTMAS SWEATERS WITH AND HAVE THEM KISS ME ON A COLD SNOWY DECEMBER NIGHT. DANG IT. That's all I really have to say about this song, besides the fact that his voice is totally flawless, perfect, wonderful, amazing and just, gorgeous. Kinda like him in general, eh?

This Christmas - Christina Aguilera
I always really loved this song and I love Christina's voice and all her awesome little runs. I am also a fan of any chick can make alto singers sound amazing, and she does a good job of that when she has her moments in this song. It's a catchy little diddy that I also sing to my customers at work.

Mistletoe - Justin Bieber
Don't hate. Appreciate. I think this song is adorbs. Well done, Biebs. Everything else, you are still under further questioning.

What's some of your favorite Christmas tunes?
Let me know, so I can put them on the playlist at work so I can sing to the old Italian men.

These are a few of my favorite things...

Happy Monday, divas.
Hope your weekends were great because mine consisted of nothing but work, mental breakdowns, writing papers and sleeping when needed. Let's just say it was a no bueno kind of weekend. On a bright note, I did get to see my little cousin turn 3! He had a Bob the Builder themed party and was just the cutest little boy ever! But in other news, things should be looking up because this is my last week of classes for the semester. Golf claps! I can't wait for all this garbage to be over so I can just relax and just work my little tail off and make over-time and holiday pay. Holla holla! Let's talk about something happy, shall we? On another note, let's talk about Christmas, shall we?!

Christmastime is my favorite time of the year. I seriously go all Buddy the Elf when it's December.
I love everything about everything! I love the weather, decorating the house, shopping for friends and family, wrapping gifts, listening to Christmas music, the time off from classes, working extra hours, eggnog, baking and all of the other fun stuff. I mean, I could go on for years. But, I will save you the torture and just narrow down my top faves.

Christmas Decorations | I love Christmas trees, nutcrackers and Christmas lights. My mom used to decorate the house full-out Winter Wonderland style my entire life, and now I decided that this year I will decorate the house all on my own and see if I can do it all justice. Every year, I also decorate the outside with my dad. Hanging all the lights and wreaths. The whole sha-bang.

Christmas Music | I can listen to it all year round. I am in lovelovelove with Michael Buble's album, but I also like to jam out to Mariah Carey's when I riding around the town doing errands. I belt out "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" all the freaking time, my dad is already sick of me.

Wrapping Gifts | Yes, I end up cursing the paper when it rips, or when I cut the piece too small, but I totally love wrapping gifts. I like to make them look perfect and I love tieing and curling bows. I honestly think that I should have been an elf. I would be the bomb dot com.

Holiday Flavors | I love getting a coffee with a little gingerbread, eggnog or peppermint flavor. It puts me in a good mood and brings me right into the holiday spirit. I am always down to try new things, so I love when they come out with new and different holiday flavors.

Seasonal Candles | I love walking into my house and smelling my mom burning a candle that smells like Christmas Cookie, or Buttercream Frosting. It's just one of those little things that make you all warm and fuzzy on the inside.

C'mon, tell me what your favorites are!
